This is my final project for drawing class. The assignment was to draw a minimum of one figure in an environment. I went through about a million ideas for this drawing. I had originally intended to layer drawings on tissue paper and sew them together, then I was going to draw a city at night, etc. etc. This is the final product, for now. I did most of it in blind contour with a little bit of peeking just to make sure it wasn't completely disoriented. It's hard to do good blind contour on such a large scale. I really wish there was a scanner large enough around here to scan this. The photo destroys the detail in it.

Size: 23" x 30"
Medium: watercolor, ink, marker

i think the perspective is a bit off, left building, and especially the windows of the left building... ;)

A picture is worth a thousand words, but it uses up three thousand times the memory.
I know, there's a lot of perspective off...it's because I did it blind contour.
